GOOD TREATS, GOOD ROUTINE
Feeding Guidelines
Start with a little. Make every treat a happy part of your dog’s day.
Use as Meal Toppers
Crumble a small amount over your dog’s usual complete and balanced meal for extra flavor. Count toppers toward their daily treat allowance.
Use as High Reward Treats
Celebrate a great recall, a new milestone, or an extra-special moment with a small reward. Choose a piece that suits your dog’s size and supervise while treating.
Introducing new treats
Offer as an occasional treat and introduce new foods gradually. Adjust the amount for your dog’s size, activity, and usual meals. Treats should make up no more than 10% of your dog’s daily calories. If your dog has a medical condition or prescribed diet, ask your veterinarian what’s appropriate.
